Drew’s Hope Research Foundation was established in 2007 after the Ferrandino’s received the devastating news that their five year old son, Drew, had Batten Disease. Drew had gone from a child who once ran, jumped, and played to a child needing constant care. Drew’s family enjoyed every moment with him until his heartbreaking final days in September of 2014. The Ferrandino family is continuing their support and efforts to find a cure for Batten Disease. In February of 2016 they held their first event which was a wonderful success, raising $21,000.
